These terms cover your use of the Movopia (formerly 3FG and Athlyca) mobile app and this website. By creating an account or using Movopia, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who can use Movopia

Movopia is for adults aged 18 and over. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service.

Your account

Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings.

The service

Movopia helps you find and host pickup games, join clubs, connect with training partners, and message other players. Movopia does not organize, run, or supervise the games themselves; games are arranged between players, at venues we do not control.

Assumption of risk

Sports and physical activity carry inherent risks, including the risk of injury. You participate in games and training you find through Movopia voluntarily and at your own risk. Assess your own fitness, the venue, and the other participants before you play. Movopia is not responsible for what happens at games or for the conduct of other users, online or offline.

Your content

You own the content you post (profiles, games, messages, photos, ratings). By posting it, you give Movopia a license to host and display it within the service so the features work. Do not post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Community conduct

Treat other players with respect. Do not harass, threaten, spam, or impersonate anyone; do not use Movopia for commercial solicitation without our permission; do not attempt to disrupt or misuse the service. You can report messages and users in the app, and block anyone you do not want to interact with.

Termination

You can stop using Movopia and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other users at risk. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (such as assumption of risk, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive account deletion.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Movopia is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Movopia and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for injuries, disputes, or losses arising from games, venues, or interactions between users.

Changes

Movopia is under active development and features may change. We may update these terms; the current version is always posted on this page, and material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email. Continuing to use Movopia after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Canada.
